    i was curious about that. deciding about leasing tesla MY, guy at tesla said to lease since it's getting revamp next year and he was pretty sure it will drop the value of the 2024. Or buy used Model MY 2022 for $32k and new MY 2024 is $42k after $7500 credit. Leasing is $319/month for 3 years...

    Job without 401K

    pretty common in startups to not have 401k. Too expensive for say 8 employees. But if you work for a startup i'm sure you know that you are also being paid less too. Mostly you are there for experience and gambling on the stock going exponential. Looking to 100x your options or something.

    So i read these threads in FB and bogelheads. I saved a lot in 529/esa/umga. Here's the deal it doesn't matter if you have $0 income in FIRE, if you have large assets you don't get help. I had someone say they had no idea and 20% help at HYSM type school and in inquired how it worked...

    We are similar situated but $100k less and slightly different mix of assets. More college and taxable and less retirement. I'm not sure which is better.
