Any advice on those insurance policies to pay for ambulance,medivac and other expensive transport. We have Medicare and Tricare.. Is the additional insurance needed?
Although I enjoy collecting various Silver Eagles and a few Gold Eagles, I never had a plan to sell... I am curious what strategy would exist to sell physical coins? I know there are in and out commission costs and of course tax.
My biggest fear is that even after all of the planning, DW falls for some SCAM or "trusted" helper and kids don't find out until it's too late. Heck, it could happen to me too. The bad guys never stop getting smarter!

Car insurance is up 17% 2 Cars are $1218 every 6 mos.($203 per MO). Home Insurance up 14% $550K $$265 per mo $3180 -- Combined. That's where I got true inflation. 1% deductible $2000 on a Hail Storm. Live in TEXAS .

Have 4 American Standards Vortex House built in 2017. Double flappers have all been replaced 2x. Had to replace the tank seals on one. Rubber just deteriorated and we don't uses any cakes etc. In ALL cases I called American Standard vs ordering parts. They sent out NEW replacements for FREE>...
We go to an Ophthalmologist for annual checkups and prescriptions if needed. Medicare and Tricare cover it all. Sometimes there is a non-covered component but usually $25 or less.
Not 100% part of this thread but my 3 major expenses for my retired houshold.. Insurance up 23% Food up 12% and Utilities uo 10%... SS COLA? not even close.
I use USAA. My home and 2 auto Increased aprox 20% Texas. I have made a couple of claims for hail and fire and USAA has been a painless process. I see some value in knowing what you get when you have to use it..
Just looking for opinions. Vanguard offers FDIC brokered CDs currently 5 year at 5.5% Callable 1 yr or 4.6% Non Callable. They also have 7 year and 10 year similar rates. Do you think this is wise for age 73 IRA money? Can't see a lot of growth over next 3 years in market (my Opinion)
