I've been thinking about buying security bolts/screws for my plates for a while now, and this thread is a good reminder to add them to my Amazon cart. For anyone else interested, here's a link:

Just a reminder, if you do NOT have your make and model in Amazon, check the compatibility. I got this message, and it told me Black Set 1 choice of that item "fit", although I wonder if it's because the trim is black, not chrome, although the gasket thingies are different. Either way, thanks for the reminder, Soujourner! I might get some for our other vehicle, which we're going to leave in long-term parking next month while traveling, although it's a monitored lot.
