    This may be a bone head question.. But... Why not just do Roth conversions every year, rather than taking IRA distributions' into a taxable account? Seems it would be the same hit Tax wise? If I needed it during the year, taking from a Roth account or taxable account would be the same...

    Anyone here ever have a "Callable CD"? Just curious how often they actually end early? No idea if its common for them to end early? very uncommon? etc. They mention risk, but it seems like the only risk is not being able to re-invest at the same rate at the time of the call. Thanks in advance!
