For some reason, I watched the original Star Wars trilogy over the past few weeks. Haven't seen any of them, in ages, although I have at least seen them since they went back and slipped in some CGI effect updates here and there.
With the last three movies, I saw the one that came out around Christmas 2015 in the theaters. Liked it, but it just didn't resonate with me, like the 1977/80/83 movies do. Never did see the other two, although I did see one of those side story movies. Can't remember which one, but it came out in late 2016, I want to say.
And, finally, "Capricorn One." I've seen it a few times over the years, so it's not like I was seeing anything new. And I think it was Comet TV where I caught it, so I don't know what they might have cut out of it. It's one of those movies that's full of plot holes and inconsistencies, but despite all that, and knowing how it ends, it manages to captivate me.
That's one of those shows I used to land on once in a while back in the olden days just killing time. I never saw the pilot as far as I know and probably didn't normally catch the beginning of an episode and didn't really know what was going on. I might have to watch the pilot, now.Northern Exposure is on Amazon Prime.
One of my favorite series ever. I remember watching them when they first aired. And then getting the DVD's (from the library) and watching them with my daughter some years later.
Just watched the pilot and it's as good as I remember.

I was surprised by the pacing of of the 30-minute Danger Man episodes, very fast for the time period.

Well I'm done with 2 seasons (15 episodes) of Northern Exposure. It was nostalgic to watch it some, but I'm done with it. It's a little dull for my tastes, and the main character (Fleischman) annoys me.
Wife and I are currently watching the 80's tv series Dynasty on Pluto.
I signed up for the BritBox Black Friday special and the first thing I did was watch As Time Goes By from start to finish! It's a sweet and funny series starring Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer as former lovers who become separated, and then reunited after 40 years, by twists of fate.
I think I can finally stump ER.ORG with this one! Identify the actor. This pic is from 1966.
